We took a trip to the Hathaway Corn Maze. And by “took a trip” I mean we drove 15 minutes north. We go every year, and fail the maze miserably! Have you ever tried walking around in 12 acres of 12 foot high corn stalks? This years maze was harders than last. Last year I had a slight sense of where in the field I was and what direction I was going in. This year… nothing. I had no idea where to go, what to do, nothing. The clues were easy but never seemed to lead us in the right direction!

And these ants, devouring a deceased woolly bear caterpillar. Ew.
It was a lot of exercise! My butt cheeks are sore and the kids are pooped! I got this great shot of the boys with their signature faces on.
The entire day looked something like this. If you look really closely, you can see Skylars green shirt. Thats the most I saw of that shirt for the better part of the day, which is slightly creepy in the middle of the corn. I hoped his sense of direction was better than mine.
We ran into a few friends along the way. A couple Woolly Bear Caterpillars and this red squirrel,
