Great article! It’s so hard to describe radical unschooling and do it justice while not freaking people out. Even though I loved what you had to say about it I can still see people not “getting it” or saying (what I’ve heard a lot of lately) that it can be done “in addition to” schooling, discipline, whatever they think is acceptable. Ah but then we’re all doing what we think is acceptable no?

P.S. I just realized I’m not getting your updates via Google Reader. I’ve resubscribed but I hope it’s just me.

Excellent point about ADD/ADHD not being a problem if the child’s needs were met. So true and so misunderstood.
